POWER OF PERFECTION: It makes us complete for every good work (Heb. 13:20-21, NKJV). Hebrews 13:20-21 “20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
POWER TO HEAL AND PROTECT
A. Whenever a virus attacks our physical body and begins to make us sick, our blood begins to fight with all that it has attacking this virus with white blood cells.
B. When the enemy of your soul rises up against you, the blood of our Lord and Savior covers us like a shield.
Colossians 1:13, 14 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
POWER TO GIVE LIFE:
Blood is our source of life; You and I cannot survive without blood
Without the blood of Jesus Christ applied to our spirit & soul, we are bound for the certainty of the second death.
John6: 53 “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.”
POWER TO TRANSFORM
Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
1. Saul, a murderer, had an encounter with the power of that blood and was forever transformed into “Paul, an apostle of Christ” Acts 9.
2. The thief on the cross had an encounter with the power of the blood of Jesus, and was transformed from that of a condemned man into a saint dwelling in Paradise. Luke 23: 43 “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
POWER TO REDEEM: Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
The law held men in bondage, and showed every imperfection in humanity.
But the blood of Jesus freed us from the curse of sin and death.
1 Peter 1:18, 19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
– But one Cry from Jesus, as he cried out “It is finished” the veil was torn from top to bottom and now man could be redeemed by the New Covenant of The Blood of Jesus.
– And now man is no longer separated from the presence of God by this blood.
Hebrews 10: 17 : And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
